i have windows XP SP2 if i upgrade to Windows Vista Home Premium how do i make it where i can dual boot when u first turn the computer on it says would you like to boot windows xp service pack 2 or windows vista home premium i want to know how to dual boot 2 operating systems please help thanks

use a tool like gparted to resize your windows XP partition and create a new NTFS partition, then do a clean install of vista on the new partition. The dual boot will be set up automatically.

you'll need the application called "bootcamp".. once you have it you'll be able to run the program and split your hard drive and assign a certain percent to each operating system. just make sure you have enough HD space for both OS. if you are going to use both a lot I'd get yourself an external hard drive and format it so you can have alot of space for both Operating Systems! good luck!
