I just received a warning that says "this version of Windows XP is no longer secure" . Can

How do I correct this? My security system reads that it is operating. I recently had to reboot and reinstall everything, but cannot get XP SP2 back.

If having a problem with windows genuine advantage, or if it shows up on windows update, try adding *.microsoft.com to the trusted zone. Go to tools/ internet options/ security / trusted zone / sites/choose add site , (make sure the secure sites only box is not checked), and add *.microsoft.com/hit apply and restart IE .

if that message refers you to anti-spyware websites it's a rouge spyware that AVG anti-spyware throws it out of your computer

if it was a spyware do the things below :



1. turn off system restore



2. reboot in safe mode



3. scan with updated AVG



4. be careful when online and don't go online unprotected
