If I understand you correctly - you do not now have WindowsXP and you would like to obtain it free of charge?

Microsoft does not give its software free of charge.

Here is a list of places which offers MS WindowsXP "free." Have you heard the expression "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is?" Be careful. Personally, I don't believe it is free. There is usually a "catch."

if you have the original xp and want sp2 it's available for free on microsoft's website. if you don't have either, buy that bad boy! i don't know where you're from but it's not worth getting sued in the u.s. and certain other countries by the big beasties for copyright infringement for downloading their software.beware!
