Why can't I see anything with wireless connection though i am connected in windows xp with usb

I am having win xp sp2 and dlink usb adapter and am successfully able to connect to my default unsecure network,Was able to surf also but then suddenly can't surf even though i am still connected.Any suggestions?

Your router may have locked up.

Try unplugging the power to your router for 10 seconds and pluggin it back in. That usually cures that problem.

If that doesn't resolve it try do the same thing to your cable/DSL modem and try again.

If that fails contact your ISP to see if they are having problems. If your service is working correctly contact the technical support of your router.

If that doesn't work reinstall your USB wiresless adapter.
