under system, if SP2 is installed it will be listed.

Right click on My Computer and open Properties. If it has SP 2, then it will be written next to Windows XP Professional 5.1, Build 2600 and all that. You can easily get SP 2 from Microsoft's website (if you have genuine Windows). Go to Start %26gt; Windows Update or Start %26gt; Programs %26gt; Windows Update. Service Pack 2 will show up as a critical update.

Click on the computer icon on your desktop or in your start-up menu. Then right click on the hard drive icon. (usually the C drive) Go to the bottom of the list that comes up and click on properties and it will show you which version you have.
