Has Windows XP SP3 been released yet?

I have Vista Premium and XP SP2 but I want SP3 so can anyone thell me when it is going to be released. Thanks. :)

SP1 and SP2 were fixes to correct problems. It's very unlikely that there needs to be an SP3, especially with Vista now on the market.

owh, will microsoft release that? i thought they focus more on vista already.
Service Pacl 3 will be released sometimes in the first quarter of next year, probably shortly after SP1 for Vista which will be out in January or February. XP will be supported by windows until 2014 I think.
sp3 isnt out yet or your comp would be bugging you to install it every 5 seconds

theryll probably be an sp3 early next year to fix major security flaws and make it safer

Yes there's a pre-release of sp3 available now.

But if your machine is running ok there's probably advantage to using the pre-release version. Better to ait for the full release early next year.
