I want install DOS 6.2 in my win xp sp2. Is it possible? Doesn't it make problems with my windo

DOS 6.2 cannot run "under" Win XP. XP has its own DOS emulation, identified as DOS 7, which is available if you "run" the command 'cmd'. Chances are that you will be able to accomplish what you have in mind using that emulation of DOS.

DOS 6.2 is an old stand-alone (and not emulated) operating system which can be booted on its own, but can not run as a process under XP. It is the actual operating system on top of which Windows 3.11 runs. This is the opposite of what is going on with Windows XP, where DOS is now a process under the Windows kernel.

Microsoft has done a lot of things which DOS 6.2 will not handle. If you try to use DOS 6.2 stand-alone, be prepared to do without a lot of hardware and communications, as well as the NTFS file system typically used by XP computers.

Sure it's possible but will not coexist with XP on the same volume.
Why would you? If you want to be able to boot to a dos environment you can create a bootable CD and boot to Dos that way. Many dos commands are available if you go to the command screen click on Run type CMD and the type help and it will list the commands.
use vmware ... this way u can create a virtual computer (u can even select the speed the RAM and the HDD available) and it will work with no problems for the windows file system or for it's own file system.
is that even possible?
It is impossible, if you use NTFS file system. DOS can be installed on FAT (16, 32...) file system only.

If you have FAT partition and your Windows XP installed on other partition, you can use special software and install DOS on this partition. On every start of your computer you will be asked what OS you want to load.

I recomend you to use floppy disk with DOS to boot your computer if necessary.
consult a computer technician. But to my knowledge, it is possible, as lon as your pc does not create problems for you.
