A video card is an essential piece of equipment for your PC. Without it, you can't see anything. Your monitor plugs into your video card and is sent a signal which is turned into a picture for you. To find out what kind of video card you have, click Start then Run and type in dxdiag and hit enter. Click the display tab and that will tell you all about your video card.

start, run, msinfo32

This will tell you...
go: start%26gt;control panel%26gt;system%26gt;hardware%26gt;device manager. your card is under display devices.
Real and positive info can be had by using BelArc Advisor..This free program is useful for all O/S..The info is excellent~!Enjoy~!!
Best way and also to get full system information is to run the program dxdiag

Click START

Click RUN

In the block type in " dxdiag " ( without the quotes )

Let the program load completely ( watch the blue bar )

Then click on the TAB at the top for the info you want. Your video is the DISPLAY tab. Watch for DX errors.
