MapleStory on Windows Vista Home Premium?

Hi there,

I downloaded MapleStory on Windows Vista Home Premium. I set the compatibility for MapleStory.exe and Patcher for Windows XP SP2. It seems to be working OK.

However, after I am finished playing MapleStory and exit to my desktop, I notice some weird things. When I type something in Internet Explorer, Microsoft Word etc, the type is often delayed by a few seconds. I.E. I'll type the letter "e" and it'll take a second for it to appear and in a laggy sort of way. This never happened before I downloaded MapleStory.

I have 3GB RAM and a Quad Core processor so my specs should be fine. Also, I have run a virus scan and I just got this computer last week and I have NOT downloaded anything other than: iTunes, MSN, and MapleStory. Why does it do this? What can I do to STOP it?

Also, what would be best to have on: Windows Firewall or McAfee Firewall on a good level setting? (Can't have both because they'll conflict with each other).

Thanks!

Merry Christmas.
