Windows Vista issues need some advice?

On my pc i have windows Xp SP2 %26amp; Windows vista Integral version, recently i had some problems with Win Xp witch required me to repare it using it's CD now after doing that i losst the boot screen that used to show up for me to log either in Vista or Xp.



My Question is how can i edit the boot.ini file to regain that boot screen knowing that Vista boot files are still in the same location %26amp; i just don't know what to do %26amp; i don't wanna reinstall Vista again so is there any thing i could do can you help me?

Install Linux
use vista disc to boot into vista. in vista go online download vista boot manager using that add the xp back into the boot menu.



you are now using the vista boot loader to dual boot.
