What's the shortcut to close all Windows Explorer windows at once?

I'm on Windows XP SP2 and I'd like to have a quick way to close all Windows Explorer windows at once, instead of having to right-click on each one in the Start bar and selecting Close, or even using Alt + F4 on each open one to close it.

Is there a better, easier way to do this? Thanx in advance!

i think you better start using windows internet explorer 7 beta and learn about how their tab works. this can really save your fingers from clicking the close button. or when you open multiple websites you can notice that the windows are grouped in your taskbar. you can right click the group and close it all at once.

The power switch is highly effective.
You can use the Task Manager (rClic on Taskbar %26gt; Task Manager) then close one of the windows explorer items in the list, the Task Manager will close Windows Explorer. The same goes for all applications. If you close 1 Firefox/WinAmp/... window with Task Mngr, Task Mngr will close all windows opened by the same program.

You can also, if you have many enough windows, shrink your taskbar's height to allow only for 1 row of taskbar buttons. Windows XP will aggregate taskbar buttons of the same type into groups. You can then right click the group of taskbar buttons opened by Windows Explorer and then lClic "Close Group". The downside of this method is that it also groups other taskbar buttons as well (if they are many enough). Say you had 7 WinXplorer windows and 5 Paintbrush windows, and you shrunk the Taskbar to 1-row height, WinXP will group the 7 former together but also the 5 latter together.

As for the Internet, don't use Internet Explorer. I used to. But when I tried FireFox (and believe me I tried a LOT of browsers: Enigma, Phase Out, AOL Browser, Netscape Navigator, Opera, MSN Explorer, Konqueror...) I discovered a whole new ease in browsing experience: automated, sleek and streamlined.

Hope I was of help to you.
if you open many internet explorer at a time then windows XP groups them in one and then you can choose 'close group' to close all internet windows at once. if the windows doesnot group automatically that means grouping of similiar taskbar buttons is switched off. right click on the task bar and click properties and tick on the 'group similiar task bar buttons'.
if u r using the "Group smilar tast buttons" then just right click on the task bar and click "Group Close"....if not then just hold-down the Ctrl button and click all the windows on the tast-bar and click "Group Close"...

let me guess y u wanna do this is bcoz u r into some nasty stuff aye heee.

OR download the internet 7 and u dont have to worry about them anymore..coz u can hav many windows within one window

i hope it helps
