What is the best keyboard and mouse combo for windows xp?

ok...i want the family desktop to have a betterand nicer looking keyboard than the original one we have that came with the computer(we bought the desktop back in either 2002 or 2003).

i want something wireless and of course can support windows xp(keep in mind that we have sp1,if we upgrade to sp2 for xp the computer will run unbelievably slow) and does it matter if its a different brand(we have a dell computer.) and PLZ make it be in the $25-$100(the price is also with the mouse,like i said combo not seperatly)

I can reccomend that you look on the logitech website, www.logitech.com. They have wonderful products. I have a logitech gaming keyboard that is wireless and a similar (but not pre-packaged matching) logitech wireless mouse that work wonderfully. The both of them probably cost about $130.00, but the keyboard is the top of the line and is much more than a family doing basic computing would need.

I also have a Dell.

No offense but that's like asking a crowd what their favorite song is... It all depends on personal taste. Best bet is to go to your local techie store and play with the demo models and find one that you like that are in your price range...
Most wireless combos are worthless. They may work good for a while but always give you a problem later on. Wired keyboard and mouse combos are much better.
Go with wired they are way better and yes every keyboard and mouse will work. If you buy one that connects into a USB port make sure you have a couple, if not get one that doesnt need to plug into that
