Is Windows Vista Worth Upgrading?windows nt

Two years from now, it will be a MUST!

If money is no object to you, and computers are your thing, do it.

If you have no issues with your current system, put it off until you become unhappy or you know for sure that VISTA has a capability that you need that your current system does not have!

Down the road, VISTA will be the Operating system! Do not upgrade now, just because it is the new toy on the block!

I recommend, wait until you ware ready for a new system and buy it then! It will be a lot cheaper; many of the bugs will have been worked out.

Both software and drivers will be available for it.

No more single core CPU will be for sale, all graphic cards will support it and you will end up with the best deal.

For now, plan your next PC that YOU are going to build Yourself!

Use a word document and open a URL to any computer site that you like, www.newegg.com or www.derictron.com. Then copy and paste.

Chose a pc case, copy the case picture and paste into document, copy the URL, description and price. Repeat for every item needed to build the PC, software, monitor,

Router, key board, everything! Some time later, build another one at a different site.

The end system will be what you want, at the price you want to pay and the performance level that is interesting to you!

Is Windows Vista Worth Upgrading?windows 95 internet explorer

If you are planning on getting another computer in about 2 years or less than I would say don't upgrade as most computers will come with vista.

If you plan on keeping your computer then I would get vista unless you have an older computer.
i can only repeat what i hear but i hear it's useless and a reasource hog. it may eventually be neccessary but gamers will need quadruple core processors just to turn thier computer on.
My information is anecdotal, but I'm told that Windows Vista will not install certain features that involve certain hardware if that hardware is not up to Windows' standard or HCL (or whatever it's called these days)

In short, make sure your computer passes the Microsoft HCL perfectly before considering an upgrade
i can only say that i learned the hard way,i was warned not to buy it because of all the bugs and problems it had, but i bought it anyway,i thought the only problems would be that you would need the right hardware, well i have all of the right hardware, but the problem is the unlimited number of bugs that it has,i wont ever buy it or use it again, but it will be perfect for you,so go ahead and buy it,you need to throw your money away like me.
