Help with Windows registry please.?

I currently have windows XP(sp2) on my PC. And about every 20 mins or longer I get this irritable message: WINDOWS- REGISTRY RECOVERY: ONE OF THE FILES CONTAINING THE SYSTEMS REGISTRY DATA HAD TO BE RECOVERED BY USE OF A LOG OR ALTERNATE COPY. THE RECOVERY WAS SUCCESSFUL. This almost always appears when I turn on my PC. Is there anyway for the message not to appear or disable it cause it is frustrating every time.

-thanks-

Help with Windows registry please.?

Try Defragging your hard drive

Go to %26gt;Start%26gt;accessories%26gt;system tools%26gt;disk defragmenter

It's going to take more than a hour.

If it doesn't work---%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;

The best way would be:

1. Back up important files

2. Reformat Hard Drive

3. Reinstall Windows XP

4. Install Security Suite (Norton 360 is the best atm)

You probably have a lot of errors in your registry because it has a lot of invalid entries. I suggest that you try some free registy cleaners such as:

Eusing:

http://www.eusing.com/free_registry_clea...

CCleaner:

http://www.ccleaner.com/

Before you make any changes to the registry, please back it up to an external device first, such as a CD or USB flash drive. The registry cleaners I mentioned above will allow you to do this. You can also defrag your registry after you clean it by using the following program:

Auslogics Registry Defrag:

http://www.auslogics.com/registry-defrag...

The programs I mentioned above are free. I hope that this information helps you.
