Windows XP wireless internet set up??

hey

i have a laptop which was using the operating system called windows vista basic. i got a virus and wiped the computer out and installed XP SP2 as i wanted to try it. it is set up and is flying lol but there is only one problem i dont know how to connect to my wirless internet my other laptop which i am currently on work perfect but i dont know how to search for internet connection using XP can anyone help it is well appreciated!!

Make sure to install the wireless drivers.

Then go to Control Panel%26gt;Network Connections

You should see the Wireless Connection, right click that and choose View Available Wireless Networks.

If you're lookin gto connect to the other computer, open Explorer (it's called My Computer on the desktop and in the Start menu) and put in the network address of the other computer - either

\\192.168.x.y\

(whatever its real address is), or

\\mylaptop\

(or whatever its real name is). You'll get a list of available shares on the laptop. Pick the one you want.
